Multi-Grade Sand Filter for Water Treatment
The multi grade sand filter for water treatment by H2OMSPL is a depth filter that makes use of coarse and fine media mixed together in a fixed proportion. It produces a filter bed with adequate pore dimensions for retaining both large and small suspended particles. It consists of a mesh of various graded (sized) media together. The multimedia arrangement is optimized to produce a filter bed with adequate pore dimensions for retaining both large and small suspended particles. Water carrying 25 to 50 PPM suspended solids can be brought down to less than 5 PPM after filtration, making it suitable for further treatment or reuse. Our sand filtration water treatment plant can work on its own to remove physical impurities or support other equipment by reducing the load on them.

One vertical cylindrical vessel with hemispherical ends (Dish Ends) includes:
- One set of internal collection and distribution system
- One initial charge of graded media as per process requirement
- One set of frontal pipework and valves as per system design
- Two pressure gauges to calculate pressure drop across the filter
- Operating pressure of 2.5 to 3.5 bar
